In 2009 the ambitious actor landed a recurring role on The Good Wife.

Pascal was caught off guard when he was offered the role of The Mandalorian.

Patty Jenkins, a famous director best known for Wonder Woman 1984, was one of the people vouching for the charming actor. In his interview with Variety Pascal explained, 'It was a f—ing offer,' Pascal says in an incredulous whisper. 'I wasn't really grasping that Patty wanted to talk to me about a part that I was going to play, not a part that I needed to get. I wasn't able to totally accept that.'

Jenkins had remembered Pascal from a pilot a few years back, and clearly Pascal made an impression.

Favreau, the showrunner of The Mandalorian, was also gunning for Pascal's presence on the series. Ultimately, this was part of what led to Pascal landing the legendary role without really having to try at all.
