Unfortunately, you can't do it without buying the game. If you want to have the game on Steam you can add Battlefield 4 to your Steam Library as a non-steam game. 1.7 minecraft update. Plus, even if you buy the game on Steam, Origin will be installed since it requires for playing the game. Ah ok thanks for the info.

Hey,
does anyone know how to integrate my BF4 into Steam? Most of my friends have steam, only a few are using Origin so it would be very nice to be able to use the Steam Interface while playing BF4.
Does anyone know how to do that and can help me? Thank you. :)

Because Steam overlay isn't compatible with 64 bit.
You could do it with Battlefield 3 by simply selecting the origin program as the target program, but with Battlefield 4 64 bit that won't work.

I did that with BF3 and now im searching a way to do the same with BF4. Its a shame i cant use the Steam overlay. I really think steam is much better than origin.

Since Second Assault came out (possibly due to patch fix), you can run the Steam overlay in-game. You can run it in 64-bit BF4 and you do not have to disable in-game Origin overlay, the game will automatically use the Steam overlay instead if its enabled. To enable Steam overlay in BF4:
In your Steam Library, go to 'Add a Game..' in the bottom left and click 'Add a Non-Steam Game'.
In your list of games generated, select 'Battlefield 4 (64-bit)'
Find Battlefield 4 which should now be in your list of games. Right click on it and select 'Properties'
***Very Important***
Change the target to Origin.exe. It will be in your Origin installation directory.
You can now start up your Steam shortcut which will open up Origin but your status on Steam will say you are playing a non-Steam game Battlefield 4. Open up Battlefield 4 in your Origin library to load up Battlelog. Once you find a server and start up the game, you can now access your Steam overlay in-game by pressing Shift+Tab together. Origin overlay will no longer be available, but its not like anyone uses it anyway.
***NOTE***
Once you are done playing and exit Battlefield 4, your Steam status will remain as you playing Battlefield 4. To change your status you can either open up another Steam game or if you want your status to be not in-game, you will have to close Origin completely.

Sorry for the late response but if BF4 is not in the list you will have to manually find the BF4.exe file yourself by clicking 'Browse' in the same list of games
You will need to find your BF4 directory which will be in Origin GamesBF4
In the main directory you will find two .exe files called bf4.exe and bf4_x86.exe
bf4.exe will be the 64-bit .exe file for the game, use it unless you run the game in 32-bit. If you run the game in 32-bit use the bf4_x86.exe file
Then you can follow the rest of the steps
