A message from the Affinity team
As a way to lend support to the creative community during these difficult times, we're once again offering a 90-day free trial of the Mac and Windows versions of the whole Affinity suite, for anyone who wants to use them (even those who have previously completed a free trial). We're also bringing back the 50% discount for those who would prefer to buy and keep the apps, including our iPad versions.
More infoHello Affinity team, it is great to finally being able to test Photo in Windows, thank you so much for providing an alternative to Photoshop! I have a question regarding the integration of Photo in my Lightroom workflow: I have added Photo as an external editor in Lightroom, and selected ProPhoto. Affinity Photo serves as a successor to PhotoPlus, which Serif discontinued in 2017 in order to focus on the Affinity product range. It has been described as an Adobe Photoshop alternative, and is compatible with common file formats such as Adobe's PSD (including Photoshop Smart Objects). Functionality includes RAW processing, colour space options, live previews as effects are. I'm new to Affinity Photo. When I learned that PhotoWhoa was offering the Affinity Photo Presets Bundle, I made the purchase right away without hesitation. There are altogether 27 main categories in 9 zip files with countless presets in the form of CUBE files.
Affinity has layers, giving you more options than Lightroom (where you are limited to your single photo layer and nothing else - you have to keep dipping in and out of Photoshop if you want to work with layers). Affinity is much more sophisticated than Lightroom when it comes to local editing.
